dougwintz Posted February 28 Posted February 28 This is the second RS8 kit I built. Love the decals on these, but but they are a challenge. A lot of detail in the interior which is hidden. I managed to squeeze a shot in through the vent opening of the window. Also still torn over whether to clear these kits. The KFC version I did, the Scherer version I did not. Next up is a Meng version of the RS8. Stay tuned! 7
Funkychiken Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Super cool audis! I think clear-coating over the decals keeps them secure over the long term...

Jim B Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Beautiful Audi. Very well done. I have this kit in the stash, and I have to admit all those decals are intimidating. I think I'll do the BMW M8 first.
Rich Chernosky Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Doug, really like the job you have done here. Calling this a decal challenge just might be an understatement. Looks like you were up to it though.
Roger U Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Very nice looking models. Great decal work. In the first photo how did you get the name and design on the front grill?
bbowser Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Beautiful work on both. Clean paint and decaling. Thanks for posting.
