Built the chassis today

some observations to get chassis to fit in car:

the 1.5 mm holes need to be fully drilled to place pieces m8 and m9 to bury them to the bend point

I drilled the 1.5 mm holes in m3, m4 and m5 after securing these parts to the main frame brass tubes 

I substituted smaller diameter brass wire for the 1mm metal rod that needs to be bent.  Much easier to get precise bends

Will follow your WIP with interest - I built mine 35 years ago simply out of the box - had to restore it last year.

Tamiya metallic blue (TS19) from can over grey primer.  Actually lays down nicely from the can
