Dr. Krook Patient Pending custom show rod.

Here we go on the next build, a crazy Show Rod!  The Bikini Express!  A vintage Dr Krook Patient Pending kit. 70’s Covair Flat 6 cylinder C-Cab rear engine hot rod with a 3d set of Richard Carroll copy super wide tires. In a Turquoise Metallic! I know that these kits can be worth a lot, but if she brings home a trophy that’s cooler!  Just some surf tiki madness!

Ron Olsen on Facebook has the files and he was printing them last fall.  I picked up 2 sets with Cragar wheels for them.  The print is great.  I know he sells the files for those wheels too.

I finally have all 5 of the corvair powered show rod kits revell did. I do need to find a motor for one of them because mine was not built well.

I was at a show today and a guy wanted 140 for the T-Bone kit.  And it was open and started.  It was still there when I left.  They are out there. I only paid 30 for this and it was all there just the decals were shot.

Mine were all a hunt for affordable ones haha It started with the Medicine man kit I found cheap. the others not as cheap but I did find them all unbuilt other than that one motor if I remember right. I hope to build them all in my style.

Chris the Revell Dune Buggy With the Purple Car on the box, has both the VW and Corvair engines in it, IIRC?

That might be an easier kit to find.

YES IT DOES!  the Revell gypsy dune buggy and the Revell Super Safari  do as well! Thanks for jogging my memory!
