Chris Smith Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Next on the Bench will be the Peugeot 905 in 1/12 scale from Model Factory Hiro. Hopefully you all will be as interested as I am on this. Thanks again for your support. 2
Dave B Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Actually love this car and am looking forward to seeing your build Chris. I should try and pic up the 1/24 version!! Dave B 1
Nacho Z Posted April 28 Posted April 28 I have picked up and put down the Heller plastic kit several times. I don’t know much about the car’s pedigree, but I do like the looks of the car. I’ll pop a bag of popcorn and follow along on this one! 1
Chris Smith Posted April 30 Author Posted April 30 After some sorting and cleaning, a lot of drilling I have quite a few parts painted and getting ready to install. i did lay down a couple carbon decals onto the main cockpit. Nothing super fancy but it is a start 😉 2
Codi Posted April 30 Posted April 30 There is NO moss growing on you Chris.....jumps from one outstanding build to another and the subjects couldn't be more different. Fantastic is all I can say and you know that I love this new car you're now undertaking. Big Cheers, Tim 1
Chris Smith Posted May 2 Author Posted May 2 How about some brake rotors and hats and some detail on the tub 😁 1
steveracer Posted May 13 Posted May 13 (edited) How many parts to this kit? I may be messed up but thought that I saw a raw resin photo of just a few parts, but must be another thread? How did you get the fluid bottles to look clear and with fluid inside? That is awesome! I love this car, it looks so purposeful and fast, but hard to believe it is over 30 years old. Better than the hypercar stuff today. Am watching, looks great! Edited May 13 by steveracer 1
Codi Posted May 13 Posted May 13 That is a good question Steve, I'd like to know too & for what it's worth I TOTALLY agree that the car looks so much better and purposeful than today's "hypercars". Just an opinion. Nice start to this one Chris! cheers, tim 1

I can honestly say I don’t know, on how many parts are in this kit. Making the clear bottles look like there is fluid inside, pretty simple to do. I used some masking tape to cover the area I want to remain clear and paint the other area with Tamiya clear yellow. Clear blue works well as well as clear orange. Hopefully this gives you a idea
kensar Posted Thursday at 01:02 PM Posted Thursday at 01:02 PM Your simple method works well. Nice clean work, Chris. 1
Chris Smith Posted yesterday at 02:13 AM Author Posted yesterday at 02:13 AM Soooo…. I have an update 😁. as per usual with these kits lots and lots of drilling and dry fitting + checking 5 steps ahead to see where things line up. If you don’t, you might be screaming at your self down the road. So I have started the inner cockpit with some of the computers and small details. The annoying part is almost everything is semi gloss black, flat black. So it seems to blend together. Well I hope you like what I have so far. The inner section is not glued to the outer. I will be starting in the the main floor. 1
