NOBLNG Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Here’s an old thread on the topic Carl. https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/102205-suggestions-prep-resin-body-for-paint/ 1
Bugatti Fan Posted May 21 Posted May 21 (edited) Any good concentrated detergent washing up liquid should work using an old toothbrush or paintbrush to give the parts a thorough going over, then rinsed off with water and left to dry. Edited May 21 by Bugatti Fan 3 1
Bill Anderson Posted May 27 Posted May 27 I've found that Dawn (the blue stuff) dish soap works very well. Hey, if it can take petroleum oil off of birds, it can sure take mold release off of plastic. 1 1
Old Buckaroo Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Carl - that is what I use to clean resin parts. I use whats in the tub for stripping car bodies and just scrub everything with a soft tooth brush. No soaking or worries about forgetting its in the bath. 1
