Brenton Posted May 22 Posted May 22 I’m looking for these rims that I saw in another member’s post. I asked him where he got them, but he doesn’t remember. Does anyone know of a kit that had these? I need them for a truck kit I plan on doing. Thanks!!!

DJMar Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Those seem to be the wheels (and tires) from the Aluma Coupe BUT... AMT also had a set of similar wheels in the late 80s/early 90s reissue of their 40 Ford coupe. Kit #8056. This kit also came with some modern seats and an updated digital dashboard. I have a set of these wheels in the stash, and they all have they same offset, as well as fit the AMT Goodyear Eagles that were all the rage back then.

Chris V Posted May 24 Posted May 24 It should be noted though, that the Aluma Coupé has "true" directional wheels (they're just mis-matched on the built buggy), whereas all four wheels in the AMT '40 are identical. 2
Ulf Posted May 28 Posted May 28 The Aluma Coupe and the Chezom tires were known to crack after a short time, unfortunately long enough for many builders to glue the wheels on....
