Recent reissue kit that has a really sweet decal sheet. I added a parts box supercharger and Weiand air filters. Parts box master cylinder, wheels from the Landy Charger and parts box tires. Interior has a PE steering wheel and scratch built roll bar and a few other pieces like window cranks and arm rests. Kit supplied graphics and a few PE scripts finish it off. My favorite year of Chevelle.

And yes, I managed to get the key and fob into the ignition. Hard to see but it is there. Even the fob is orange.

Awesome looking chevelle. The engine compartment and interior are fantastic. I remember building this one as a kid, that front end gave me such a headache.

Beautifully built. Awesome attention to detail. That last picture showcasing the engine and front shock just displays how much effort has been put in. Top looking Chevelle. 👍🏻

That's a solid looking build Bob.  The 66 is my favorite body style as well.  I'm diggin the build Buddy.

Great work! It's a trickier kit than it looks to get everything to fit! Love the color scheme!

Really nice! Good call on the wheels & tires. And you can't go wrong with a white car with a red interior.

That flip front end was a nightmare for me as a beginner builder. I think I glued it closed the first time I put it together, 40+ years ago.

Looks great Bob, I'm a lover of the '66 Chevelle as it was the first new car I ever bought back in the day.  Terrific looking!!   👍

Thanks all, it truly validates the choices I made. This is not an easy crowd to win.

Ya know what it needs?

A mirror! Just looked through a parts box and found a set on 70 Chevelle mirrors. I'm going to fit em and see. If not I have a mid 60's chrome GM mirror that'll do the trick.

Great build - It has nice eighties’ Street Machine vibe!

That was my goal all the way.

Beautifully detailed engine and chassis. The body colors and finishes look great. Like the interior with your added aftermarket parts.

Just teleported back to the '80 Street Machine Nationals... you nailed the look and feel of that era. Great job!

That was my goal brother. Glad I was able to provide a time machine.
