This was another fun kit. I didn't take any engine bay pics but it's a throwback to the weekend I-6 daul carb racer, yet good enough to drive daily.  I have been a sucker for the 2 tone paint of the 50's and this was my first go.  I learned a lot with this.

On all 3 of my posts, the start to finish build time was roughly 8 years. Life has a way....

I LUV IT.

Thanks, I still have to add a few points of color on the Chevy Emblem, and the front turn signals.

Looks cool. It's a nice build. Think you should finish the trim.

Thanks, and I agree, the trim finish is next. (After I get my office reset up. Paintbooth and new table.)

Nice, clean build. Great color choice, may I ask which color is that, makes it authentic 50’s look.

Is this a Monogram kit? I should search for one.

I will have to dig in my paint to find the body color, but the roof is Gunmetal by Tamiya, and IRC the body is Testors Turquoise.

I will grab the brand on it, but I did get it at Hobby Lobby if that helps.
