Rbray47 Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Built from the recently reissued Amt kit. Although, as a daycab, I doubt it's suitable for crossing the country. Paint is all Tamiya. Lots of scratchbuilt parts, including the mirror brackets (I hate Amt's mirrors) pogo stick, some engine parts, and a couple of relays. Converted to single tank using a chrome Kenworth item with the Peterbilt step, which fits pretty good. Stuffed in as much chassis electrical and air lines as I had the patience for. To be different, it got a single straight pipe. 9
Brenton Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Beautiful job on this kit! I love the red frame and how clean your build is. Congratulations! It’s a beaut!
BK9300 Posted June 6 Posted June 6 You create amazingly clean, well executed builds - pleasure to view your postings. 1
cifenet Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Again, just gorgeous finish on this. Looks just perfect! The single exhaust setup is special also. Clean paint work and the color scheme using three different colors works very well here. 👍 1
leafsprings2 Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Great looking build, detailing work is outstanding! Really like the mirror upgrade, front fender correction and paint scheme!
meechum68 Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Beautiful!! I could see this truck running up and down the hills in WA state with a load of lumber!!
trick my mixer Posted Wednesday at 05:46 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:46 PM Nice and clean Pete. Refreshing to see a sinle stack Pete plus you did an awesome job on the mirrors. You are right on the stock mirrow brackets.
