Rbray47 Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Latest build. I don't have enough company trucks, so I added this one to the shelf. The frame was shortened, and Astro tanks and a parts box battery box were used. I bought the Budds on ebay. They're not as good as those I usually get from ST Supply, but they'll work. Air electric, and engine bay hoses were added. Decals are from the Cruiseliner kit. 5
'70 Grande Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Great looking build! Everything looks right for a Ryder fleet unit. I'm curious if you know what paint color you used for the Detroit Diesel... that color looks spot-on to me. 1

Daverde Posted June 5 Posted June 5 That’s awesome love the 2stroke Detroit diesel’s I used to rebuild them and run them on a dynometer fantastic work on this build!! Thanks for sharing
BK9300 Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Got to love another company truck - like the slight rusting on exhaust manifolds and piping; subtle and very effective at same time!
cifenet Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Very nice build and high quality craftsmanship showing off here! You have done a great job making this kit, I really like this GMC.
leafsprings2 Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Great job on the General, fleet trucks always have a way of looking good without chrome. Under hood detailing is super!
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted June 14 Posted June 14 I don’t know why, but this Ryder paint scheme has always been one of my favorites and you did an excellent job with this one!
