With all the parts in my bins, I can’t find an intake to convert the Moebius Hemi to a single carb hi rise B1 style intake. Does anyone know of someone who casts one? I’ve checked Iceman, and VCG, but came up empty. I already have the hood and scoop set up for an inline type intake over the cross ram style.

The ones I have seen are more "street" versions, the picture you show is more of a drag configuration. This might be blasphemy to you Mopar guys, but that looks a lot like the GM intakes on earlier Monogram Nascars. Jayes Model Garage 3D prints the GM Nascar manifold that is open under the runners.

I think its from the Johan 1969 Roadrunner and maybe others

yours if you want one

Adapting any wedge head intake to a hemi is going to be tough due to the angle of the intake to head surface

Plus look how the ports layout compared to hemi head

Hemi is individual single port

Wedge is 2 sets of Siamese ports

There weren't a lot of single four-barrel 426 Hemi intakes.  Most 1:1 units resemble the Jo-Han piece which was in any of their Hemi engine cars that included a NASCAR version ('64 Plymouth, '69 Roadrunner, '70 Superbird to name three).  MPC put one in some of their annual kits, but theirs is lame compared to the Jo-Han piece.

There might be a kit or two with one that looks like the "tub" style used on other NASCAR engines of the period, but for a street or drag version the Jo-Han unit is what you want.

Though stock 426 Hemis all used dual four-barrel carb setups (Chrysler wanted a higher CFM rating for Stock and Super Stock classes), there were single carb setups that were raced.  Arlen Vanke did some development on single four-barrel setups as he ran them in AHRA GT classes in the late Seventies.  Chrysler tried a single carb to try to get the Street Hemi past smog standards for '72, but couldn't quite get there.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Yes, now that I think about it, I definitely want the ports to be spaced correctly. I see an EFI unit that Iceman has, that I can convert to make it look like the one here…

If you have one of the AMT pro street '70 Coronet kits, take a look at that.  The dual overhead cam Hemi engine setup includes a single four-barrel carb intake that might look right on a regular 426 Hemi engine.

Thanks again for the replies. I have a couple manifolds coming from Iceman. I decided to pull the Hemi heads off the moebius engine, and add the heads for a 440. I built a manifold from spare parts to resemble a B1. There is a guy on eBay that has a bunch of resin parts, and I put in a max bid, and was outbid. I’m not going to rebid, as the parts don’t look that great to warrant a higher bid. I think this wedge engine will look pretty good when I’m all finished with it.

Found an intake online from 3D  ScaleParts. Has anyone ordered from them? Are they reputable?

I've bought their stuff through eBay. Good quality, no problems...though one Hilborn intake manifold warped before I could use it.

EDIT: I've had stability issues with several liquid printed parts from various vendors.

The thinner ones seem to be the most prone to warping.

A side note their tires/ wheels are 20% off on EBay. Been tempted to get their Artillery Wheels with big/littles.
