Jim B Posted July 18 Posted July 18 Does anyone make pink primer? I think Tamiya used to, but I'm not sure if they do anymore.
James2 Posted July 18 Posted July 18 I purchased Taymiya's pink primer earlier this year. I believe thru Tamiya Pink Primer 1
Jim B Posted July 18 Author Posted July 18 Thanks. Scalehobbiest didn't list it, and it looks like Hobbylinc has it on backorder. Hopefully it'll turn up somewhere.

Jim B Posted July 19 Author Posted July 19 Thanks. Unfortunately, I do not have an airbrush, so I have to use rattle cans.
oldcarfan Posted July 20 Posted July 20 I bought a can from HobbyTown a couple weeks ago. I think it was around $12.
Jim B Posted July 20 Author Posted July 20 I'll have to check our local Hobby Town, but their selection has been pretty dismal recently & there are rumors of them closing this Fall or by the end of the year.
Jim B Posted Tuesday at 04:53 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 04:53 PM So, for those of you who are curious, I contacted Tamiya America about their pink primer, and here is the response I received this morning: "This item is currently undergoing re-labelling to comply with the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Unfortunately, I have no ETA when the process will be completed, and this item will be available once more. Thank you, Gary Demory Tamiya America Customer Service Supervisor" Well, there you have it. Get it while you can!

It's possible, otherwise there'll be a "black market" for Tamiya paint with people coming to the US to get it.
