Parts Box early style Street Coupe

Haven't been on the bench for a while so thought maybe a quick build would be a slump-buster. Digging through some boxes I came up with a well-used '28-30 sedan body from the AMT Willys/Sedan kit, also found a short dragster frame with front axle already installed - believe it might be a Gofer. For motivation I have decided on the Desoto Firepower with 8-Stromberg intake from the '53 Ford pickup kit, will also be using the Ford rear axle narrowed. So far I have shortened the sedan body. If I can do it I plan on drilling out the Strombergs and using the fuel injection velocity stacks. here are some early-stage pictures.

Well Rick, this is something straight outta the late 50's / early 60's..... Gonna be one cool build!!!!!   Will be watching.
