mrmike Posted July 29 Posted July 29 My new project is the '60 F-100 Pickup. This will have a Tamiya Pearl White and a Tamiya Metallic Red paint job, wheel trim rings and hub caps, and a rodded out engine and floor shifter. I started out doing a mock up and then it is off to the sink and a bath. The front end needs to come down a bit and I have some Revell axle pins so I won't have to stare at the metal axle intruding on the engine compartment. 8
Zippi Posted July 31 Posted July 31 That'll be a nice build Mike. Looking good so far. I built this kit a while back.
mrmike Posted August 4 Author Posted August 4 I have been working on the '60 F-100 off and on for the last several days. I have lowered the front end of the truck to its final position. The engine has been painted, assembled and wired. 4
Zippi Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Looking good there Mike. That engine will look killer setting in the business end of the ole Ford Pickup.
mrmike Posted Saturday at 03:09 AM Author Posted Saturday at 03:09 AM Been working interior of the truck this evening, Tach, extra gauges, floor shifter, fire bottle, rear view mirror. Pretty well, stocked! 4
Zippi Posted Saturday at 09:56 AM Posted Saturday at 09:56 AM That interior is looking pretty nice there Mike.
mrmike Posted Saturday at 03:49 PM Author Posted Saturday at 03:49 PM Thanks Bob! I just took apart the interior to rearrange the fire bottle. Now it looks better.
bobss396 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Looking sharp. I have one too, but it will get out of hand, as usual. I was thinking of a '57 conversion. A shortened bed, 3D engine, etc. I envy those who build box stock-ish.
