Classic Plastic Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I finished this Revell kit a few days ago. I used the lowered suspension option and narrowed the front and rear axles. The centerline rims are from a 59 El Camino kit and the tires are from my parts box. Wired distributor is from Morgan Automotive Detail. Paint is Candy Apple Red. Comments welcome.
Peter Lombardo Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Nice and clean build...the color looks great on it. Very smooth.
Starliner Kustoms Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Nice build. It's funny, I just started mine about a week ago with a similar color in mind. I hope it comes out as nice as this. Bernie
Classic Plastic Posted May 15, 2009 Author Posted May 15, 2009 Thanks guys! Here's a few extra photos.
Dennis Lacy Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Great looking F-1! The color really compliments the shape and lines and love the look with the old Centerlines. I'm one of those odd people that actually still likes the old Auto Drags, haha. Once again, fantastic job.
Classic Plastic Posted May 25, 2009 Author Posted May 25, 2009 Thanks Dennis! And thanks for everyone's great comments. Here's a shot of the bed. These are the custom home made decals I used.
Foxer Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 That candy red defiantly looks great on it!! Nice job with the decals
vizio93 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 hey i like it !!! that wood bed set's any old truck off. keep up the good work.
DR Dubois Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Those look like Aurden heads and valve covers on there. Aren't the plug wires supposed to go to the plug caps on the valve covers just like on a Hemi?

Chuck Most Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Those look like Aurden heads and valve covers on there. Aren't the plug wires supposed to go to the plug caps on the valve covers just like on a Hemi? I think ya meant ARDUN (a contraction of Arkus-Duntov), but, yeah, I had the same question. I see plug wires- where do they go? Be that as it may, I love this kit, and I love seeing it done up to this level. The color in particular really pops on this truck.
