jdsengineer Posted August 13 Posted August 13 As the title says, 76yr old and thinking of starting modeling again after 60yr. Below is 67 Indy turbine car and Andretti Hawk that I built from a clear plastic slot car body. Exhaust pipes on the Hawk are electrical wire and old paint brush ends for the exhaust exit tubes 14 1

Cosmic D Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Hello Jim - I'm just a few years behind you in age - welcome back. I hope you'll be showing us some new projects soon. After all, we age like fine wine.
pulln4dejr Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Welcome Jim! Both cars look great for 60 years, I can’t hardly keep mine 6 weeks without having something fall off or breaking! Looking forward to seeing what else you have.
Dave B Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Welcome Jim, never to old to start again, never stopped building since the '60's!! Dave B

jdsengineer Posted Saturday at 01:23 PM Author Posted Saturday at 01:23 PM actually my wife of 51yr says that all time. I'm just a kid with toys. RC cars, full size hot rods, 575 hp sports car in the garage.
Mike 1017 Posted Saturday at 03:32 PM Posted Saturday at 03:32 PM Congrats on keeping them for all of these years. I wish that me and my brother did not blow up ours with Firecrackers every 4th July.
