Well I now have slightly more space after buying another side table (IKEA). I was going to put shelves up but I will be redecorating shortly and don't see the point in doing that just to take them back down

@kacitgirl love it! I need to do shelving in my hobby room, partially for stuff on my other table, (which will now double as a work desk and person gaming pc desk, and for models I complete above it. 

So many great builds too!

i bought a computer desk from ikea as my work station  fits in the corner of my living room just nice

yeah thats a good one  i'm the same not a massive flat but plenty wall space ikea do some floating shelves so thats on the cards

yes problem is my walls are plasterboard can get away with floating shelves but wall units might be a tad heavy

And if the wall units are mounted on the studs.... no bueno!  The walls come tumbling, falling, the walls come tumbling, falling ... dooooown!!  (Couldn't resist the song lyrics)
