I finished this some time ago and it's one of my favorite builds. It's the Jo-Han '70 442 kit with some PE parts, Cutlass wheel covers from Fireball Modelworks and tires from Modelhaus. I used PE hood grills meant for a C2 Corvette that looked close to the Cutlass front grill pieces. I didn't do much to transform the interior so it's pretty much the 442 stuff, but I did find a similar looking steering wheel from a '69 442 kit. I think the side mirror came from that kit too.
This model was built as a kind of tribute to my father's car that I learned to drive on. It was light metallic blue when new, but in the later 70s he had it repainted to a nice darker blue, which is how I remember it and the color I was going for on this model.

Beautyful! awesome build it's nice to see a stock build from time-to-time perfect color I loved the Jo-Han kits i had a lot of them growing up and been lucky to find some through the years.

Great looking model and good job on the pictures. They could definitely be mistaken for a 1:1 at first glance.
