Air Trax kit that I’ve been working on over past few years.  Was missing several parts including center console which I will try to make next.

the chassis that came with my kit was not useable.  I have chopped and stretched an italeri Ferrari Daytona chassis as a replacement.

today boxed in the the rear parcel shelf, made new fender area and parcel shelf with polystyrene and apoxie sculpt

Will like change color to metallic brown to replicate Peter Sellers car

Good work so far. I have one of these kits in my stash waiting for a day when I feel very brave. That kit requires a lot of work, and you have made a great job so far.

Wow, lots of fabrication work going into this one Thomas. I like the looks of the car and look forward to seeing more. Those wheels look nice, where are they from?

The wheels were from eBay jack modelling.  I ordered a few sets a while back kept the front narrow wheels for a Ferrari 250 California and saved the wider rears for this.

I would love to get the Lusso. Is that one any good?

I have not seen the lusso kit.  All of the Airtrax kits require a lot of scratch building.

Steering wheel

the kit only includes the photoetch ring

to make the wooden rims I made a resin mold of the fujimi Ferrari 250 gto steering wheel.  Then used clear uv resin to make 2 sides of wooden wheel and center horn button

sanded and shaped and painted
