magicmustang Posted Friday at 08:17 PM Posted Friday at 08:17 PM (edited) Well, here's another one that had been on my "shelf of doom" for many years. Started with an MPC '75 Monza annual kit. Tubbed the chassis and interior, took a BBC from the parts box, added twin Holleys and high-rise manifold, added a Lenco trans. Headers from the parts box. Scratch built the interior and Lenco shifter. Wheels and tires from the parts box. Scratch built the engine sheet metal. Scratch built hood scoop. Then, lost interest and back on the shelf. Pulled it down again, painted the stripes and started to apply the decals. Had a problem with the Slixx decals, contacted Becky at Slixx and she sent me a new set. They worked fine. Paint is Testors rattlecan red lacquer over classic white. Future acrylic over the decals and then a coat of clear gloss lacquer. Comments welcome. Edited Saturday at 11:39 AM by magicmustang 10
Shark Posted Friday at 10:50 PM Posted Friday at 10:50 PM Nice clean build. Funny how some time goes by and you forget about certain cars. I guess it's called getting older. 1
