NYLIBUD Posted Thursday at 05:12 PM Posted Thursday at 05:12 PM (edited) This was a true story.I watched it last night on u tube.A lot of fire power. If you like shoot outs.IMO it was better than the shootout in Heat.(Al Pacino).David Soul was great in it,along with Michael Gross.Extremely violent.David Soul just wouldn’t go down….And God only knows how many times he was shot.Several Feds were shot,or killed, which sucks. 👍👍🚔🚨Gotta give it two thumbs up. Bugatti Fan Posted Thursday at 06:45 PM Posted Thursday at 06:45 PM I prefer the shoot outs from those old spaghetti westerns starring Clint Eastwood. More subtlety than most of the Wham Bam thank you Mam stuff churned out by the movie indusrtry. Closing scene from one of those with Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef and Eligh Wallach. I liked the build up of tension where they were waiting for the music from a watch that belonged to the murdered daughter of the Colonel (Lee Van Cleef) to take his revenge.

Bugatti Fan Posted yesterday at 07:25 AM Posted yesterday at 07:25 AM Getting away from the western I used as an example, I quite like the Jason Statham action movies, the Rambos, Mission Impossible, The Expendables and of course the Bond Movies. Also watched a TV series named Lioness recently about a female CIA operative infiltrated into a drug cartel starting Zoe Saldana.
bobss396 Posted yesterday at 11:52 AM Posted yesterday at 11:52 AM Westerns? I've been getting into them in the past few years. BUT...Will admit that I'm getting tired of Audie Murphy. My cable provider has a couple channels with old series and some good movies going back to around 1946.

The wife and I watched the Lioness series too and quite enjoyed it.👍 One thing I can’t stand in a lot of action movies is when the bad guys are spraying bullets all over the place and the hero is doing cartwheels across the room and not getting hit by anything.🙄
Mike 1017 Posted yesterday at 03:17 PM Posted yesterday at 03:17 PM I like watching old Black and White Westerns, Horror, Swashbuckler and Sci -Fi. The special effects are mind boggling. Sparklers powering Flash Gordons Spaceships !!! I love the Errol Flyn movies the best Black and White or Color Thanks Ron Interesting subject 1
LDO Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I think my favorite war move is The Guns of Navarone. Navarone is a fictional island, but obviously off the coast of Greece. A special forces team is put together to destroy big German guns that could destroy allied ships. Great flick. Gregory Peck at his best.
Bugatti Fan Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) Talking of black and white movies, I can remember a serial with Crash Corrigan discovering a plot by Atlantis to conquer the upper world. The special effects were to say the least, very basic, probably very poor by today's standards and expectancy, but as a kid back in the early 50's following the story by going to the cinema on Saturday mornings it seemed amazing at the time. It is one of those film stories that would make a great film today with modern CGI effects. Edited 23 hours ago by Bugatti Fan

I remember this was a TV movie. I have this on VHS as I was recording TV movies a lot back in the 80s-90's. It will be great to watch it again and even watch the commercials from back then as well
Ace-Garageguy Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I'm running a little late. Finally watching "Rush" 12 years after the rest of the planet.

It's the best racing film I've ever seen, and one of the best films, period. Free on YouTube right now...but don't try to watch it on YT without AdBlock or the paid no-advert YT tier.
Bugatti Fan Posted 42 minutes ago Posted 42 minutes ago Great fillm! About James Hunt and Niki Lauder' s rivalry. The film really encapsulates their different personalities. Hunt's devil may care approach compared to Lauda's analytical way of preparation. The Ford versus Ferrari film was also a good racing film to watch too.
