I would be all about a modern version of Smokey and the Bandit if the hero car was one like in my OP! Those cars can outperform the original T/A in every way, acceleration, handling and top end! But, then again so could your S2000! LoL.............

Possibly, but just like trying to substitute anything other than a ‘58 Plymouth for Christine, I think a LOT would be lost in the translation. Steve 1

webestang Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago You make a good point about a 2000 Eleanor but I'll still take the 71 over the 67 but that just me. Then again why not the Cobra R..........
Ace-Garageguy Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago How about something like this? It eats everything it encounters, and if you don't like it, it goes on social media and tries to ruin your reputation by calling you out as 'fat phobic'. 1

So a live action version of "cars" with an "adult" theme? 1

I hear that often. In all honesty, I wasn’t a huge fan of either one, but I respect their appeal. I enjoyed the story line and seeing the cars in Christine, but it was rife with bad acting. Not in my top 100 favorite movies list. Just my opinion. Steve Edited 19 hours ago by StevenGuthmiller 1
Brian Austin Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago There have been original movie ideas. Sometimes they're brilliant, sometimes they flop.
