Lyn Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 Hi everyone! I wanted to share this with you and also thank you for being very patient with me. I know I don't exactly fit in here but each of you has helped me more then I can say in your own way, notes, seeing your models and kind words... so thank you once again....... My Nephews were down for 5 weeks this summer visiting my brother.. He doesn't have them for their birthdays so we threw a duel party for them.. I gave the kids who attended a snap model... Dalton build his and his Mother Wendy sent me a picture of it.... Dalton I believe is Autistic though I never asked if that was it because to me it never really mattered he's an awesome kid with a very creative nature. Wendy sent me a note saying her husband sat down with Dalton one night and built the truck, she said they both had a blast!!!........ and this is why I am sharing http://i905.photobucket.com/albums/ac256/l...ithhismodel.jpg I hope this works!

(Im lucky as we get to go to Shows together still) and My step son builds a few models also... it really is a timeless memory
Lyn Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 it may be unbelievable, but I have built models myself... How could I not with who was my dad lol.. Do you all involve your daughters in it? I am just curious because it just seemed as natural as breathing to me when I was a kid.
Foxer Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Neither my son or daughter build models, but my son still isn't sure how many wheels cars come with. My daughter drove my Porsches better than I, changes her oil and keeps her tire pressures EXACT! Both are over 30. Wonder which inherited my car craziness? And we'd LOVE to see one of your models, Lyn!
Lyn Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 Not sure I have figured out this photobucket thing but.............. you asked for a model buidling picture I hope to provide one haha http://s905.photobucket.com/albums/ac256/l...t=Lynsmodel.jpg If it works, the blonde is my other brother Donnie. I'm sitting and building
