RodBurNeR Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 I thought it was a proper name if you think about Kings and their wardrobe. I can't find the spinners, but when I do I will add them to the rims. I painted this thing 4 times because I kept getting a less than satisfying result and it's still not perfect but good enough to call done, enjoy!
oldscool Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Yessiree Bob! Now thats what Im talkin about. Larry Watson Bellflower style.

Jantrix Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Bob that looks spot on perfect. Great work.
Guest Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I voted real this time......oops, this isnt real ormodel, is it? great job Bob!
Pat Cardz Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Wow, that is nice! Great stance and choice of wheels, it really makes the car. One thing though, it still not too late to black wash that grill. Blackwash or not, she's a beaut!!

One thing though, it still not too late to black wash that grill. Blackwash or not, she's a beaut!! Thanks! I did not wash the grille, I never do. I use an archival ink pen with a tiny tip that fits between the grille bars perfectly. The grille shines "where it's supposed to" without dulling the rest of it. THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!
cruz Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 As usual, nice job on this Bob, I have always loved the body on these cars!!!
Peter Lombardo Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Back in 1964 I was not a big fan of the 64 Ford....I really liked the look of the 63 which was bolder and more stout looking, but as time has past and I aged, I have grown to really appreciate the smooth lines and well thought out design of the 64 Galaxy. You sure did a great job on it...I am not a huge fan of gold as the dominate color on a car but the gold with the red top really works nice. Very nice build, I love the stance...nice and low.
RodBurNeR Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 thank you Marcos! I love the body too! Peter, thank you as well for your nice comment! I just want to say (I know it's almost the same)...but the color on the body is Bronze by Testors One Coat. I have so far had some say they didn't like the "green" with the red top....I think everyone's computers have different settings.
