Dr. Cranky Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Next thing you know you'll be building models up that high!!! Watch the elbows, buddy. But they won't let you use an Xacto knife. Well, you can file down parts.!

RJWood Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Hey Gregg, How about some pics. I could say I'm on the space shuttle right now, and who's to know. Snap a pic out the window and post it! Lets just see how high you are.
Dr. Cranky Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Just think of all the neat gifts you can buy the top posters on this forum with all your clocked miles!!! Some of us just want more of that Kona Lion Coffee!!!
Zoom Zoom Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Watch it... no religious posts, or God help me, I'll delete it! Oh gawd...lawd have mercy
Dr. Cranky Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 What? You are not flying first class? What kind of corporate credit do you have? Well, if you are in coach, that little table makes a good temporary workbench.
charlzrocks Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 I've been to Puerto Rico seven times......loved the place, especially out in Ariceibo, Moca, Aguadilla, Ponce and away from the touristy places. Used to have a clergy friend that went there every year for his birthday.....
ismaelg Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 WI-Fi? Didn't you see the big spool of cable at the airport plugged to the plane? It should last until about the Bahamas Then the fun begins, reeling it back for the next flight
simonr Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Coach?...he doesn't know what's that! Simón P. Rivera Torres What? You are not flying first class? What kind of corporate credit do you have? Well, if you are in coach, that little table makes a good temporary workbench.
george 53 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Simon, coach is wat 's pulled behind the horses, OR a REALLY expensive PURSE! I know, caz my wife spent TOO much on one!!!
Harry P. Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Gregg loves the WiFi so much, he's decided to buy himself a private jet, just so he can fly from show to show and keep in contact at all times. And he said I can have a Ferrari as a consolation prize...
Foxer Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I just want to know what 36,000 feet is in 1/25 scale?
B-dub Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I just want to know what 36,000 feet is in 1/25 scale? haha.... guess there won't be any normal altitude planes in a diorama of 1/25 soon.. it'd have to be flying itself
BigGary Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 haha.... guess there won't be any normal altitude planes in a diorama of 1/25 soon.. it'd have to be flying itself As long as your "high" is 36k feet, we'll be O.K. I can't imagine trying to get an Xacto, glue, or even BMF on an airplane with TSA hiring some of the people they do and some of their policies. Gary
Jairus Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I think he is down by now guys... Probably sleeping off the flight in a hotel room or at his brothers house. The flight only takes a few hours from PR to Atlanta btw.
2002p51 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I just want to know what 36,000 feet is in 1/25 scale? 1,440 feet.
Harold Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) 1,440 feet. That's 80' longer than a dragstrip. BTW, Gregg, you didn't see the Balloon Boy anywhere up there, did you? Edited November 12, 2009 by Harold

Jairus Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Gregg called a little while ago. He is in Tennesee visiting his Uncle Jack! Will spend tonight at his brothers place and then tour the country side after barfing to the porcelain god tomorrow morning. That is all...

I've visited once or twice in my younger years myself...
