mr moto Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Your '59 looks great and this one's even better! Great job on an interesting and seldom seen subject!
Eric Stone Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 I like this one a lot! Where in TX are you?
RacinRay88 Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 awesome! now those were STOCK cars. i love how you drilled holes to simulate where the chrome trim would go and the interior work...great build!
MarkJ Posted January 19, 2010 Author Posted January 19, 2010 Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. Eric, I'm real close to your location . I live about halfway between Houston and Galveston. They always say you should not give up your exact location on the internet. Thanks again.
Railfreak78 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Nicely done old school. I like the rivet holes from the chrome being stripped off. Keep 'em coming!
Slim Louis Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 This is a good one, too! Can't decide which one I like better! You are the Rex White build king, for sure!
mredjr Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 I thought this was worth taking another look at. Great job Mark!! I hope when I get as old as Mark I can do this quality of work LOL.

MarkJ Posted May 31, 2018 Author Posted May 31, 2018 Wow, Elvin . You had to do some digging to find this one. This model meant a lot to me because I actually saw the real car run at Richmond back in 1961. It was the first Nascar race I attended.
Jim N Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 I missed this one the first time around, but the model is really outstanding! Great work Mark.
