BTW the deuce is mine... as soon as I win the lottery.

Now thats what I call a TOYBOX. Gotta be around 700 kits and a 1:1 Flathead deuce. Yup, thats what my garage will look like when I win the lottery.

This is more my kind of garage :P:lol:

It's one of Ralph Lauren's garages.

I am sure Jerry's garage is pretty nice too. Those guys account for 3 of the existing 10 or so 550s and the Factory has 2.

Oh my good lord....... :o:blink::rolleyes:

they have more than Ferrari themselves!

They, that is just Ralph Lauren's Ferrari collection.

exactly.

He has some property here and the fence line along the road goes for well over twenty miles, it's funny becuase whoever put up the fence did it backwards according to his wife and she made them do it over - maybe 100 miles all they way around.

WOW!!!!! I could live there! Jim did I read it right or Is my vision getting worse...I though it said you would give the kits away to drive the car????? Do me a favor...When you get one to drive tell me where to back a truck in at to load them up.

No,no, no, Mark. If I had a coupe like that I would be out driving it all the time and wouldn't have time to build kits, so I would give them away. I'm not close to having a sweet hot rod like that and don't have nearly as many kits anyway. But I start getting Social Security in March sooooooooooooooooooo maybe I'll start a hot rod fund.

I think it would be too much fun driving a little deuce coupe around. We have a dune buggy (avatar pic) but it doesn't have a top or glass except the windshield. It can get pretty chiily in there. The coupe would have all the glass as well as heat & AC. That would be a year round vehicle for me. I'll have to start working on my wife to convince her that we NEED a hot rod.

thats well over 700 kits. id say 1000 plus. i have close to 600 and it looks like half that. is that the only place he has them. in my house they are in every closet and one of the empty bedrooms. here in texas, i wouldnt be able to store them in the garage. humidity would be their worst nightmare.

I don't recall how many kits he has, it's in the thousands tho. You should see his hobby room above the garage! He sells these kits in the summertime at an automotive flea market, but sales are slow (plus he charges too high, IMHO)

BTW, that's a two car garage... and these are the two cars in occupancy...

See what a long divorced, retired school teacher can do after making the right investments? He told me his Harley was courtesy of Exxon. He cashed out wisely before the financial world collapsed.

Here is some pics of the hobby room...

Please tell me that man doesn't drive those around Colebrook in the winter?!

Charlie Larkin

Hi Charlie-

Nope... I'm not aware of any Colebrook around here. His two Deuces are parked for the winter as well as the Harley. He is understandably security conscious, and I respect his privacy by not disclosing his location, other than to say that we are all New Englanders.
