VW Dave Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 A guy in NV who does some crazy custom VWs made a 3-door Beetle, just to be different:
Dominik Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 WOW - what a built! Simple say in one word: Perfect!

Art Laski Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Very nice work! That is a lot of fun to look at. -Art
MikeeD Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Absolutely incredible work...the detail is just phenomenal!
FASTBACK340 Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Aside from the beautiful conversion work, it's the little things that also jump out. Look at the open hood picture. See the back of the dashboard and the speaker? And the backside of the speedometer & radio? The under dash cargo tray is a nice touch too. Awesome job...
charlie8575 Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I was always a little surprised that Volks never did a 4-door from the factory, but that taxi looks good I might actually try this myself. The build itself is beautifully done and all those accessories look great. I wonder if Nokian (the Finnish tire company, and part of Nokia, which we all know for mobile phones,) has something similar to Mr. Bibendum (aka The Michelin Man)? Charlie Larkin
djway3474 Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Great modeling there! I love the inner dash detailing in the front trunk and the lil extras here and there. VWs Rule!
gasser59 Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Absolutely top notch. Loving all of the little details that make this build spectacular.
zelkam Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Really well done. One wonders why VW. Has not built that way. scratch build it's PERFECT
Danno Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Absolutely a~friggin~mazing!! Truly spectacular build. (Gotten go back and study it some more!!)
Greg Myers Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 What ? No Coco mats? Looks like you've got just about every accessory made for a VW. I always laugh when I see these restored bugs going down the road with everything but the kitchen sink on them.Great execution just the same.
Scalper Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Wow This is so cool. SO much to look at. Great Build.
