Beautiful work, thats a real nice version of that car. Looks like you got the stance just right....

Spraying a little clear dull-coat on the chrome wheels would give em a brushed aluminum look of the old centerline wheels that seem to be on the 1:1 car... In any case, thats a super nice job you did on the model.

Outstanding car Caine!

I've been watching this build and that is a unique car to have on the shelf.

How many have one?

What's the next project?

Wow Roger - That is one Sharp Volare. I could not find the build up on it - what kit is the body from ?

I also really like the color of your Carbs. is that a custom mix ?

Thanks for all the kind words and great advice.

The car started from this kit.

The decals were done with great help from many on several boards. One board member put in a lot of time and effort and the car would not have been possible without him. I just had to size them and print them.

The carbs are painted with testors model masters 1796 jet exhaust and then washed with black detailer.

The chassis was a modified from a Pro Stock Olds kit. There are some nice Pro tech parts used as well as some Competition Resin parts and a Ross Gibson motor with wonderful MAD distributors.

Thanks again!

Yep.

The early Pro Stockers(I Think Dick Landy was the first to do the twin plug heads) were a T shaft and later ones were mounted side by side.

That is a very nice looking model. something you do not see at the shows. You nailed the "Different" and the "Gottchya" factors. Nice work. I have seen the duel distributor set up both ways many times.
