geetee66 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 They both look marvellous! I love these Fords. I have a Dick Tracy one in my stash, but after I read a review pf the re-issue, I want that kit too. I chopped the last 36 I built, but the reissue has a chopped top and more custom parts than the D Tracy kit. Both of yours are primo!
Jade043 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Very cool kits I really like the sliver one looks sweet.
Bob Ellis Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 The purple custom is the epitome of the AMT 3 in 1 customs. Can't beat that look.
VW93 Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 (edited) Ron, the 39/40 sedan box art models have been on my long list to do also. I have a set of near mint original decals, I just need to have someone make new ones for me. Between the sedan delivery and sedan kits I've also managed to get most of the parts to build the custom version. It would be great if R2 would reissue the sedan with the original parts and decals as they did with the '36 Ford. The body/hood tooling could use a little cleaning up based on the past kits (Millennium Issue) I have. Edited September 5, 2014 by VW93
Mike Kucaba Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Ya'know, that might make a neat class at a model show. Box Stock/Box Art. Hmmmm Desert Scale Classic is coming up....
carrucha Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Very well done. I can't believe I missed this topic in 2010.
