Really? I'm no expert by any stretch so that's a bit of good news I suppose. I wasn't terribly worried but this keeps it legit.

As a mechanic for over 20 years with 17 in one garage I'm an expert at several cars [read: Ford Taurus, Chevy Caprice, Dodge Stratus and Intrepid]. Not Baldwin camaros.

Thanks George

Bob

Most of the Baldwin-Motion cars were special ordered and basically, could be optioned with anything the purchaser wanted. So unless you're replicating an actual 1:1 scale B-M car, just about anything you want to do is "correct".

I don't know the rules about ressurecting old threads, so please beat me with a wet noodle if I am breaking any rules, but I just want to ask Bob if he finished this one. I am a big fan of early second gen Camaro's and Motion cars.

This thread motivated me to buy the re-issue kit, and the photo-etch detail set made just for the motion car on ebay today.

Yeah, I would like to see photos of the finished product too. I really liked this one as you were doing it and I think I will be using that color combo on an upcoming build. Just have to figure out which one. 69 Corvette maybe?

Looks sharp. I'll be building mine as a non Motion car. More like the one from Gumball Rally.
