Peter Lombardo Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I have completed my 1970 Baldwin Motion 454 Chevelle. A quick recap. Revell Baldwin Motion Chevelle. Only body modifications are most emblems were shaved and the doors were opened and hinged. Bottom color is Duplicolor Cayman Green and the top is Duplicolor Black. Light Green vinyl stripe dividing the colors. Flames were air brushed on freehand with the aid of a mini airbrush. Template Tamiya smoke was applied to the rear and side windows for the strong dark tint. Wheels and tires are from an old MRC set of Firestone Wide Ovals and American Mags. The engine is straight up and the hood has struts to hold it open. A few coats of clear, bare Metal Foil and buffed out. That’s about it.
Dragline Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 A wonderful effort Peter. I hope my Camaro comes out even close. Bob
brett Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 awesome mate, wheels set off the rest perfectly, great choice and those hood struts are very cool

David G. Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Excellent air-brush work, and the wheels just look right with that body style.
KWT Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I know this is old, but it's awesome! Dang good paint job! And wheel choice... wish I could see hinge area, cuz this one has me stumped.
