SoCalMark Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 These are the ones I have pix of http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v25/650M.../Picture188.jpg
Matt_Conte Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 ME TOO!!! I really like where you are going with that streched 66 wagon. I would like to see that one when you are done. Nice idea.
GTmike400 Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Some of those are rather interesting. I'd love to see the second one finished!
Zoom Zoom Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 I'd love to see the second one finished! Me too. Do you even know what it is Mike? Looks safe at any speed to me. I really like the Deoriviamino below it, and the Opel GT.
Jairus Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 I do! I do! Corvair Corsa Sprint... I learned to drive stick on one actually! Very fast, 160 hp flat six, 4 carbs and a cooked spare tire over the engine. We had a Craig 8 track in ours and it took at least 30 min's to clear the front window on a wet morning. I got stranded with a bad fuel pump once and disassembled it with a pair of pliers and a bottle opener, swapped the two valves, and was back on the road in about a half an hour. Never threw a belt though.... ...are you still reading this? Man I feel old....
camaroman Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Jairus, when I was a JR and SR in HS, I worked a a small Chevy dealership in Clayton, GA. The guy that owned the place was a retired Army COL from AK. His one automotive love in lfet was Corvairs. He had 13 of them. Everything from station wagons and vans to coupes and convertibles. My two favs were a beatiful 69 convertible and a scary- fast tan 66 hardtop. Man would love to own those cars today. The Col's motto was "Screw Nader"! I like the wagon too! That would be popular at prom time around here!
Wildrice Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 You need a few more projects. Your work bench is too empty. LOL. Looks like a lot of cool builds to keep you busy.
SoCalMark Posted April 8, 2006 Author Posted April 8, 2006 Ok Ok I'll do the Corvair but I'm painting these to match. And maybe this one too
gasser Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 I do like these biulds, its good to see the models being biult to show all the work rather than just a pic when its finished. The third one down is just great, real imagination, something real differant from everybody elses ideas.
Jairus Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Mark, when you finish up that Galaxie trailer I might have an offer for you...
SoCalMark Posted April 8, 2006 Author Posted April 8, 2006 Thanks, I like to build things that are a little different. Here's a different view. I mixed a 65 Rivera with an El Camino.
Wildrice Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 I like your different builds. Keep up the great work.
SoCalMark Posted April 10, 2006 Author Posted April 10, 2006 Thanks for all the kind words I found a few more I have started. Here's a Caravan with a Viper nose
Billy Kingsley Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Hey, I like that Caraviper! Let's see some more progress on that Mark!! I never liked that Caravan kit. Ugh. One of the few kits I wanted to smash with a hammer. I like that conversion though! There are never too many projects! I've got something like 150 in progress. 89 of them are NASCAR. ' Where did the cap on the red Chevy truck come from?
jbwelda Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 i dig that 'vair. theres one like it down the street from me that ive been trying to get the guy to sell. convertable corsa, turbo, all stock but on american mags and lowered all around.
Ford guy Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Wow Mark, great models ! You've got some wild ideas there.
Jantrix Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I think most of us are in a similar situation.
Dr. Cranky Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 There is nothing wrong with have all these great builds in progress, it only means your imagination is on full throttle, which is great.
highway Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Well, if anyone else didn't notice, I very highly doubt we'll see any of these in finshed state, since the OP hasn't been online here since June 3, 2006!
