Grzegorz Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 I decided that it will build a Ford ambulance from the remnants of what I had on hand ...
James Flowers Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Nice work on the scratch built body. Nicely done model.
DanielG Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 (edited) I am no expert on Fords but I know that my wife would not like it!(the real thing, not your model) No side door or communication with the driver. Nice looking scratch-build though. Edited April 11, 2010 by DanielG

Space Cowboy Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Grzegorz you worked wonders on the box. Looks fantastic and very realistic. Keep up the great builds..

chrismooney Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 (edited) thanks to you like, I question whether all these ambulances were a side door? Im shure there are some out there with out a side door as these can be built custom to what the buyer wants... Check out Road Rescue ambulances web site for CAD drawings http://www.roadrescue.com/ http://www.roadrescue.com/uploadedFiles/Products/Product_Specs/Promedic%20Ford%20F450.pdf .. as the basic body style had no changed on these since the late 70's Edited April 15, 2010 by chrismooney
Railfreak78 Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Very cool I just bought the stuff to make an Ambulance similar to this as I was thinking there are none in scale that are modern. Nice work!
Robbo Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I'm into building model ambulances, police and fire service vehicles. Your model of the Ford F-250 looks a great scratch build. Robbo
Aaronw Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Always nice to see an ambulance built, and you have done a great job. As far as the side door, yes that is seen on most, but I've seen at least one without. We had a late 70s surplus military ambulance similar to yours used as a Search and Rescue truck and it didn't have a side door.
Sergey Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Grzegorz, well done. I want to build something like that (wrecker may be), using '80 Ford F. Which kit have you used as a base?
