FOUR NEW OFF-ROAD TIRES

Recommended Posts

They all look nice! The generic is more or less a military type tread, right? What do each measure out to in scale?

Yes, they could be a military type tread and a 1/25 15"inch wheel will fit in it.

Sizes are in 1/24 scale, I don't have the last one tho.

So I'm gonna guess it is a 33"inch tire.

It is a Wrangler tire from the Old Revell Jeep Honcho.

Nice soft rubber and a 1/25 wheel will fit in this too.

That will take you to the page with the off road tires, and this one will take you to his home page:

FWIW, I have some tires from Al at Ma's Resin and would be happy to measure them, although with him likely out of business, not sure that does much good. They are nicely cast and I remember it took some pestering of Al to get my order shipped, wish he had been able to continue his work, he had some other tires he was working on.

Forum George53, George Hernandez is his cousin and maybe if someone has George's contact information can find out what happened and if Al will be back.

Hopefully someone copied the tire size chart before it vanished. -_-

I didn't exactly save the web page the first time around, but I found a copy (sans images) at the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine:
