Chuck Most Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 And as an aside- "First Hudson stock car will be a Model King exclusive 1952 Tim Flock Hornet. Hoping for late September, may be early October though." Close enough to taste it!!!!!
RodneyBad Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Moebius is in Facebook. Today they posted: Moebius Models Oh, Hudson should be shipping out of China within 2 weeks, sorry no freebies! 5 hours ago https://www.facebook...152580141448964 I friended did. Now when will we see the Chrysler 300??
Dave Metzner Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 (edited) Yes Hudson due to ship from factory within the next two weeks - C-300 could ship as soon as Oct 20-ish... Danno Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Can't wait ... weak ... need Hudson fix ... (Thanks for the update, Dave!)
Dr. Cranky Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 The excitement builds. I know I will walk into my local hobby shop and find a copy or two, which I will promptly buy and add to the collection.
Art Anderson Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 FWIW, Sean Svendsen posted these pics on Spotlight Hobbies Message board yesterday afternoon. It's the box art model for the upcoming Model King '52 Hudson driven by Tim Flock. Link: http://wwwboard.spotlighthobbies.com/index.pl?read=1685104 Art
Art Anderson Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Is there any firm dateline on how much later the Flock version will be available? I see September/early October mentioned up the thread, but is that "official" info? Considering all the different parts, it would be impressive for that second kit to be less than a month behind the '53...much as I like the stock Hudson if the Tim Flock kit is only a few weeks farther out I'd probably wait on that one. Mark, all the requisite parts for all planned versions have been tooled--they are in the test shots I have here. Sooooo.........Model King's Nascar project shouldn't take very long! Art

S. Svendsen Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Here is the new art work and box art build I created for the '52 Tim Flock version of the kit. It will probably follow the '53 Coupe to market by a month or so.
Eshaver Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Now you mean to tell me , the gas door on that car is a seperate piece , WHAT A DEAL !!!!!!!! Thats going to make a spectacular piece as I could actually have it posed next to a period Wayne or mabye a Bowser gasoline pump ! Ed Shaver
horsepower Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 So how do we get in touch with this "Mace" that he mentions in the facebook account about the "scratch & dent" sale items? Thanks ahead of time for all of the great answers I know I will receive. Del
Chuck Most Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Mace is actually the smoking man from X-Files. Dealing with him can be a bit iffy at times.
Danno Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Awesome ! And I mean that as a sincere and bonafide awesome, not the typical 'General Lee awesome.'
Chuck Most Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 This has me thinking- maybe if this one is a sucess, that '54 Kaiser Manhattan kit I've always wanted might be a possibility. Yeah, sounds like a long shot, but who expected THIS kit?
Jon Cole Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Yeah, Chuck... u get your Kaiser as soon as I get my '64 Corvair Rampvan!
Chuck Most Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Yeah, Chuck... u get your Kaiser as soon as I get my '64 Corvair Rampvan! You know? Didn't even know I wanted a kit of a Rampvan until you brought it up just now. Thanks. Thanks a LOT!!!!
Danno Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 You know? Didn't even know I wanted a kit of a Rampvan until you brought it up just now. Thanks. Thanks a LOT!!!! Me, too! (Rampvan-wanting emoticon here.)
charlie8575 Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I'd like a Rampvan. And a Greenbrier. And a Kaiser. Charlie Larkin
Dr. Cranky Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Now that I have no fingernails or fingers left (chewed 'em up in anticipation of this kit being released) I wonder how I am going to build 'em!
Roger U Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 While I'm not especially interested in Hudsons I plan on buying at least one when they come out. I want to help support a company that seems interested in offerlng something other than early '30s Fords and mid '50s Chevys. Oh, I'd also like the '64 Corvair Rampvan and Greenbrier.

Jantrix Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 (edited) (Rampvan-wanting emoticon here.) You are killing me with these! (lmao emoticon here) Edited August 10, 2011 by Jantrix
Danno Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 You are killing me with these! (lmao emoticon here) And, more importantly, I'm saving a lot of bandwith by writing everything out in longhand!!! (Emoticon indicating mucho bandowitho savings right here.)
Chuck Most Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 And, more importantly, I'm saving a lot of bandwith by writing everything out in longhand!!! (Emoticon indicating mucho bandowitho savings right here.) Then, he saw John Teresi's Cosma Ray Vette and broke his no-emoticon policy... FIVE TIMES!!!! But, I suppose he's earned it!
