iBorg
A really cool motor for this is the baby Hemi in the Miss Deal or the Olds in the original Beatnik Bandit. Mike

Casey
More vintage box art: Original issue?: Wrench Connection: HOT ROD series reissue from '86?: 2004(?) reissue?:
Casey
I've got several of the '99/'00-ish issues in my stash (maroon car on the box), and this is one of my all-time favorite kits! Now I wonder what kit I was thinking of... Perhaps the Monogram-branded reissue?: I guess Revell-Monogram was already mixing brands back then. 38 Crush
Sorry about this, but I haven't seen one of these kits of the Austin on the shelves in I don't know how long. YEARS. Is it still available? Or is it only a Model King offering?
AK_Invader
Sorry about this, but I haven't seen one of these kits of the Austin on the shelves in I don't know how long. YEARS. Is it still available? Or is it only a Model King offering? They're reasonably easy to find on the big auction site at reasonable prices
kingiguana
A feature I've never seen anyone mention, is that fact that you can switch the inner door panel, and interior panels side to side, and reverse them. They have in structure detail, which is odd Revell put that, since when assembled, would be invisible. But, they also mold inner engine details too ! But anyways, the doors, can be detail painted, or opened up, with a dremel and or some cutting and filing. I think that would give it a more stripped down race look than finished button tufted interior panels. I think this might apply to a lot of the gasser cars. A few holes drilled in them too, to simulate where the window regulators were.
