WOW, John, whooda thunk all those parts could blend so nicely?!? But then, that's wat putty's for! The side profile looks all 53 Buick ish, but the rest of it just flows SOOOO smoothly it looks like it SHOULD look like that! Welp,John, This looks like ANOTHER fine build you've gotten us into! GREAT work so far!!!biggrin.gifwink.gif

I really like the way you pulled the sides of the bumpers into the body...very cool!!

I'm not yet sold on the small side windows with the full height roof...but I suspect that it'll all come together once its painted.

Thanks for sharing.

Well Jon; interesting for sure. Personally I coudn't blend kits this well, but my astetic eye tells me it looks like the front clip has a slight upward slant as it progresses from the door/fender seem to the grill surround. Also, the side windows are sweet, but the roof above it looks WAY too tall for such a sweeping window line.

However, like I said, I cannot blend kits this well, so my opinion is just that. Keep at this, I want to see what she looks like shiny!

I have been laggin behind on keepin up with alot of progress builds, but this one is just insane... You pulled the body mods off very well... You really cant even tell what kit it started life from... Great job on this one John....

Very creative!

Reminds me of the old time customizers that chopped up cars so much you had a hard time figuring out what they started with. This one would be a tough guess for anyone that hadn't seen this thread. I've been waiting for some sort of scalloped paint job to bring in the low roof line over the door glass. Even without, she's looking good.

John, first, awesome work! The engine, chassis and interior are all perfect compliments to that beautiful body. Second, what are you using for the chrome? Is it Alclad, or did you have all that stuff plated?

Interesting wagon...personally don't care for the rear wheel well styling, but that's just me!

Chassis, motor and all is very well done. Nice work!
