randx0 Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 That is pretty cool . your photography is excellent the first picture made me think it was a real car at first glance .
Modellpularn Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Awesome car! Sounded like a really weird combo at first..... But it works. That first underhood pic made me wonder if it was a real car! Guess it's the outdoor scenery that fools ya.... But please, if you can, move those front wheels a bit forward. They need to be centered in the wheelwell. Make some offset piece of plastic, or whatever, but just move the wheels forward!
Space Cowboy Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 A great job on taking the two and making one. Well detailed and paint along with the pics a fantastic piece of art..

bigmikevee Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 (edited) Hi John, Very, very nice, so unusual and different...just the way I like 'em. I had seen you working on this before you posted in this section and was wondering what you used for your filler, I noticed that it just looks so smooth when you are done with your custom work. Car looks just great, and as always, thank you for sharing with us!! Mike Edited September 9, 2010 by bigmikevee

Clay Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 (edited) This is simply amazing, that first engine shot looks real. Where can I get some of this Alclad chrome at? Edited September 9, 2010 by Clay
W-409 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 This is awesome looking car! Like these wagons and you have done very nice conversion work for this one! Like those fender skirts, they give a look like show car, I think. Engine bay is looking very nice too, awesome detailing and I dig those chromed inner fenders. Great looking build, keep these coming!
tuffone20 Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 John, that is one awesome looking wagon!!! At first I thought you were crazy for trying to mix a Ford & Chevy together!! But man did you pull it off or what!!!!!!! That Alclad you did under the hood is really nice!!!
Art Laski Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Wild, John! Very nice cruiser, just in time for Route 66! -Art
Ryan S. Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Awesome! I saw the pic with the two boxes and thought it was two separate builds...nope turned into one wicked ride. Very cool concept. I think the color choice is perfect.
rustybill1960 Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010  WOW!!!! John I thought your "basic" builds were "out of sight" Gee whiz!! Your "custom work" is totally "off the wall"!!!! I really dig your custom work Man! Thank You for sharing!!! That is some real tight work Dude! Later russ
David G. Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 It's almost too cool! Very realistic, especially the under-hood shot which looks like it could be from a magazine spread.

The Modeling Hermit Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 I don't remember seeing that in any Thunderbird brochures. What a cool way to deliver laundry or cakes.
