Models by Bear Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 see if this works . This is the wife first try at building a model i thaught she did great
RJWood Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 For a first try? Heck yea, she did a very nice job. You better watch out, she's gonna make you look bad So is she ready to try another one?
MoparWoman Jamie Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 I have to be honest here, I like it! I think she did good for her first try. But I can't help but think when looking at the model at how much it reminds me of those vehicles in the movies you know where they run through the malls and areas that are getting painted and the paint cans falls and the paint hit's the vehicles at some point though.
Models by Bear Posted September 8, 2010 Author Posted September 8, 2010 Yes it does look like it ran thru a paint store but she likes it
Kris Morgan Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 I like it. looks like it could be used to do advertising for a trendy night club or, something. Hope she liked building and, will be doing more.
DRG Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Looks to be a good clean build. But you really shoud clean her airbrush, those paint splatters are something else.
Greg Cullinan Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Your wires build looks good.Definitely a clean build. And she has style and an artistic touch to come up with such a simple idea that has such a huge return.
Raykreations Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 It's a delivery car for an art store!!! Or Sherwin Williams!! Good job by the Mrs!!!
MoparWoman Jamie Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Your wires build looks good.Definitely a clean build. And sh e has style and an artistic touch to come up with such a simple idea that has such a huge return. Wires? you mean wife right?
Models by Bear Posted September 9, 2010 Author Posted September 9, 2010 Thank you all so much , But I don't think I will ever be as good as he is. And he did help me when I needed it.Hope this works here is a link to some of his Models bears models
charlie8575 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 The paint splattes remind me of the music video for "Freeze Frame" for some reason. Nicely done. And I like Kris' take; something like that could be used for the basis for an advertising graphic package. Charlie Larkin
The Modeling Hermit Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 She did some really good work. The paint splatters give it character. I need to talk my wife and daughter into posting some of their models.
RodneyBad Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 That bad boy needs a story. Like driving thru the paint store thinking it was a drive thru I like the Splatter affect. In a weird way the Splatter works for it.. she did a good job and it is finished too. That's a step above me
MyBradKeselowski Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 I like the paint, very cool looking build
Chuck Most Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 I like the splatter effect... makes it look less like a Magnum!
vaughn Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Thats definetly different and definetly cool looking. The story line is endless.
davyou5 Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Thank you all so much , But I don't think I will ever be as good as he is.
