Airfilter Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 I just finished this Revell '62 VW T1 Samba Bus kit. I hope you like it. Pali
VVhiplash Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 very nice and clean! I like it a lot. I am hoping to do this build some day...any comments on the kit?
Airfilter Posted September 9, 2010 Author Posted September 9, 2010 173 parts. The engine and chassis is very simply, only a few parts. The seats are nice, and the decal also. All doors is opening. Easily can be put together. Nice kit. Sorry for my bad English. Pali
David G. Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Beautiful work, the interior looks especially nice.
Zoom Zoom Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Very nice! I built one too. Very enjoyable kit, and even with the complexity of the body, it all fit together quite nicely.

By the way, your Engish is better than that of some people who have been here their entire life!
Foxer Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 That came out great! Looks like the multi piece body was divided at just the right places, right on seam lines.
Dragline Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 My Dad had this exact bus. I gotta get one and do it blue white like his was. I have pics somewhere. Awesome job on it too! Bob
philo426 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Really cool!It would be cool to paint it blue and white and make it a Dharma Initiative van from "Lost"!
Art Laski Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Very nice! I posted my Hasegawa version a few months ago, so I know what it took to get this done. Yours turned out excellent. -Art
Tony T Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Nice build! I like it a lot. Classic colour combination, too. I built the Hasegawa version the Revell released, but want to build this new version as it has better details, like the correct wheels for a Samba (Hasegawa/Revell has 15 inch slotted Beetle wheels, not 14 inch Type 2 wheels).
