Jon Cole Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 When I move the cursor over a title, the title line 'bounces" up, so I reposition the cursor to click on the title. Is this normal function?
Jordan White Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 (edited) Isn't happening to me. What browser are you using? I'm assuming it has something to do with the "post preview" icon popping up. Edited September 11, 2010 by YJIslander
Rick Schmidt Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Does it on my end too. Quite annoying to have to " Chase " the post title just to click it
MoparWoman Jamie Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Not doing it on me guys, but I understand what you mean though about having to chase a thread title down.
Steve Keck Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I'm not chasing titles. I just get to login twice dispite receiving a "Login Successful" notice after the first time.
Jon Cole Posted September 11, 2010 Author Posted September 11, 2010 I'm fairly certain that I have IE8... the laptop is less than a year old.
Jordan White Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 2 Questions: 1) Whoever else is having this problem, are you using IE8? 2) Is your browser open in the full screen, or only partial screen?
Sully Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Doing it on my end also. It noticed it starting to do it last night....... Sully

Jordan White Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Could possibly be IE8. Doesn't happen in IE7 nor Firefox. Could of course be something completely different.
Sully Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 (edited) Was working fine before the Hacker attack, and upgrades the other day. Nothing I can't put up with........ Sully Edited September 11, 2010 by Sully
Jordan White Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Yeah I should have specified that I figured it started after the upgrade. Could be something to do with the new "preview post" icon.
MoparWoman Jamie Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I'm using Firefox here. If I run into the issue I'll let you all know.
highway Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 2 Questions: 1) Whoever else is having this problem, are you using IE8? 2) Is your browser open in the full screen, or only partial screen? 1. Yes, bouncing thread names, and yes, IE8. 2. Full screen. Yeah I should have specified that I figured it started after the upgrade. Could be something to do with the new "preview post" icon. And yes, after the upgrade.
Guest Johnny Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 If you noticed the ones with a topic description don't jump around!
Danno Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 1. Yes, bouncing thread names, and yes, IE8. 2. Full screen. And yes, after the upgrade. Ditto here.
sjordan2 Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I get a teeny amount of bouncing on newer threads on my iMac with Firefox, but not older ones. However, it may just be my imagination, but when I see the forum menu for all topics, the latest responses for each one show some kind of code number; I thought it used to show the date and time of the latest reply. I'd rather see the listing that way instead of having to click on recently posted or go deeper into the thread. That way I can tell faster if I've seen the latest reply to a thread or not.
Draggon Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 I guess Im not as tolerant as I could be. It happens to me in both IE7 and Opera, and the little preview thingy is a red X. I'm getting quite annoyed.
