Alyn Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 You two need to go into the car biz Killer design Killer build
Plasticfanatic Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Simply SUPERB AND MAGNIFICENT!!! This are the type of projects that show how personal ideas on design, techick and execution can become a reality in a beutiful scale model. Can't wait to see these models finished!!!!
Raul_Perez Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Hey buddy, thanx for the magnets those little things have a lot of energy...did you ever find the ones that shot off your bench when I was playin' with'em? Yeah...I found it...but I haven't figured out how to get it out of the wall that its stuck in Later,
LO51 MERC Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 (edited) Curt, I'm very impressed with this model I want to steal everything you did and build one of my own. But so far I have none of the parts you scrounged or bought or ??? Soooooo, I'll just have to watch as you finish it. Besides, this should stay as a one-of-a-kind! I'm just seeing it for the first time tonight, and I keep switching back and forth between pictures #1, #3, and #'s 6&7 on the first page. Great work, really great work. I love it! curt raitz Posted October 6, 2010 Author Posted October 6, 2010 I've got to bump this again, based on my last post. What's the deal with no rear window? I gave some thought to putting a split rear window in but chickened out. I rather like the way it looks w/o a rear window The finished car will have dual outside mirrors, so a center rear view mirror would not be required - thus don't need a rear window besides who'd wanna back this beast up anyway...
curt raitz Posted October 6, 2010 Author Posted October 6, 2010 i love it man great work just wondering were can i get a Allison? from Revell currently has a "Parts Pack" Engine kit available, in which you can find the Allison along with a few other engines do not have model kit # available, but I'm sure if ya go looking on Revells website you can find it.
sjordan2 Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 (edited) Well, I think a split rear window like the Bugatti Atlantic or the Cord Beverly/Westchester makes more sense. Otherwise, this seems like more of a curiosity than a true car, where I thought it was going. Sorry. I thought it was so cool that this could exist in a 1:1 world, but without the rear window I can only see it as a trailer queen show car. Edited October 6, 2010 by sjordan2
