Nice job so far! How do you guys feel about the pattern on the inside of the body to open up the wheel wells? I don't think it looks quite right. It almost looks like it would open them up too much and that it makes too much of an arch.

Jim

Myself I am not goiing to stress over it.

It's looking nice Walt! Makes me want to pick one of these kits up next time I'm at the hobby shop. I know what you mean about lacing plug wires, but once you do it the first time, you feel like you have to do it on every build.

Looks real good Walt! You've convinced me that I'm going to have to have one of these!

I like this build a lot. Everything is coming to together very nice. I really like the wheels - did you open up the slots on them? I also like the contrast of the color of the engine and the primer metal parts of the car. Great - thanks for taking the time to post the build!

Hi Walt real nice job so far how did you do the tire burn on your quarters? Keep up the good work.

John Pol

All I did was tape off the bumper then one over the panel and roll the tape back so you get a soft edge then I took a brush with acrylic flat black thinned 50/50 and just flick the brush in the direction the wheel would throw the rubber.
