fatkidd Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 I recently (last night) put this one in "on the workbench" I know these have been done quite a bit. Here's a little different take on it. Built box stock, except for plug wires and thread for the piping on the seats were added. Color is HOK Orion Silver B/C with HOK Cobalt Kandy Frame/chassis is the same color as the body...minus clear. Engine is Tamiya Gold Interior is Tamiya flat white with Tamiya flat blue inserts and silver thread for the piping (from walmart) Carbs are Cobalt Kandy directly over the chrome. thanks for looking and I hope that you enjoy the pics.
Chuck Most Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Very cool- I especially like the use of thread for the piping on the upholstery!
crazyjim Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Good looking build. That silver thread must have been a pain to glue down.
Ryan S. Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Well done. That paint is slick, I like the sweep down onto the doors. Great colors. I've got one of these in the works myself. It's a pretty nice kit.
DRG Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 I have tried to build this model several times and never had one come out that good. I like it, looks real good. Perhaps I should try this one again.
davyou5 Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 (edited) Ohh now I can't wait to get mine finished . Excellent job, and the white walls really go great with the paint job, I hope that you have had a fun time building it as I am building mine (Custom). Edited October 9, 2010 by davyou5
