i cannot wait for that 2010 mustang, i will have to get it over seas though  my LHS has stopped selling revell kits now and the ones they have left are way over priced.

Second that ... a '40 sedan would be great, too!

And I second your Sedan... it probably has a better shot at seeing production than a Woody, because most of the coupe tooling could be utilized. Say... couldn't that chopped custom variant you propose be the Tudor sedan? (I think a chop would look better on a sedan than a coupe, anyway.)

Works for me. However, you'd get the predictable outraged howls from the rep-stock crowd if they did that ...

Good point! Guess I hadn't considered that.

I'd simply refer them to the AMT '39/\40 Tudor kit... :DB)

One tiny detail I noticed on the Revell flyer posted elsewhere, the '62 Impala 'California Wheels' variation coming was listed as a '62 Impala SS 2n1.

Hmmmm....I assume they will then be tooling up the various SS trim pieces (and maybe a bucket seat interior?) for this release, to differentiate it from the current regular (non-SS) '62 Impala kit. Nice.

Or, could be a typo. :) I do hope they tool up the SS specific parts though.

Funny- I'm not a big fan of the bubble top GM cars of the era, yet I've got several of the AMT kits and exactly NONE of the new Revell kits! ;)

The 2010 Mustang is a must have! I'll take the '48 Ford too if it comes with a stock grille. If not,I'll have to pass on it. I have an IMC/Testors '48,but the body looks like it will be a bear to get assembled correctly.

That, and it just doesn't look right without some reworking. You'd be better off starting with a Revell kit and opening the doors (if that's your thing)= the Revell body's proportions are WAY better!
