Greg Cullinan Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Truly a work of art. Very inspiring. Thanks.
vaughn Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 That is awesome Harry. I've done a few ships in my time and I know how tedious they cane be. Most the ones I did had the masts and rigging and all and were still plastic at the time. I have noticed at the stores, most have gone to wood. You did an excelent job on this. About how long did this take to build? You mught have inspired me to tackel another. Most excellent !!!

I would guess about 200-300 hours overall, maybe a little more. It's really hard to say because I wasn't particularly keeping track. It was "in progress" for several months, but not continuously.
MoparWoman Jamie Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Harry, you did one super good job on that build of yours man. I love the detail on it and it all came out. This is the kind of stuff I like looking at also and you got my attention with it. Once again good job.

Danno Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Protocol question: If it's been more than four years since I've heaped unadulterated, non-critical puffy and flowery praise on a model, am I required to re-heap now? Inquiring non-haters want to know.
philo426 Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Awesome!I like the herringbone deck pattern.Great idea!
mustang1989 Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Now this................is off the charts. One would to have a mountain of patience and creativeness to take on and finish this. Really good build Harry!
skymnky721 Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 WOW,,really cool ,,never knew there was such a kit of this type out there,,wild.
Sixties Sam Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Amazing build, Harry! I work with wood in R/C planes, but all those tiny pieces would drive me nuts! Great work! Sam
