Matt T. Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Oh, this is gonna be great! One day I'll try one of these weathered beater trucks. I love watching you other guys build them! Keep posting progress, please.

JTRACING Posted March 3, 2007 Author Posted March 3, 2007 thanks guys, the tires come from Revell's CJ-7 jeep kit.
sno_man80 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Thats impressive, I need to learn how to get the weathered look, does anyone know of any links that have step by step weathered style?
JTRACING Posted March 3, 2007 Author Posted March 3, 2007 heres the bench seat Thats impressive, I need to learn how to get the weathered look, does anyone know of any links that have step by step weathered style? for weathering all i use is acrylic paint for dry brushing . and different pastels
James W Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 Nice work on the seat. It looks like you have quite a bit of experience with pastels for weathering, both from the model and baggy of chalk bits. Do you use the brush as an applicator or other tools?
JTRACING Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 just a small update, installed the rear bumber Do you use the brush as an applicator or other tools? just an old brush
BIGTRUCK Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Great start James, seat looks real good, bed looks awesome with all the usual items. Is that the photo-etch 6 pack holder in the bed ? P/E interior junk is a great set for that kind of build.
soonerolds Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Great work. This vehicle is a diorama unto itself. Great attention to detail. Do you do dioramas? If so, would love to see some of your work posted in the dio section.
