PROBUILDER1964 Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 This is a Ford C-600 series stake bed truck in 1/25th scale by amt. Its all basically box stock but with lots of custom painting and some weathering on the cargo ,chassis and wheels/tires.the colors of this truck are tamiya "intermediate blue" and "insignia white"
ra7c7er Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Looks amazing. Does the kit come with the plastic to make the bed signs or did you add that?

EH225M Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Now that's a great looking truck!! It looks just right, perfect colour scheme Are you going to tie the load down? James.
TheCat Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 LOVE the detail you put on this kit. VERY COOL!!!
Chuck Most Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 The mirrors (like all AMT big truck mirrors) are a bit clunky anyway- I rather like how yours looks without them! Very nice replica of a clean, well-maintained C-cab.
cam Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Great job on the Ford , Evan Hermel did an article one time on using paper clips for the mirror brackets.
davyou5 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Very Realistic! I almost thought that it was a diecast! Exceptional Job! ;) .
PROBUILDER1964 Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 Great job on the Ford , Evan Hermel did an article one time on using paper clips for the mirror brackets. WOW ! I never thought of that !!!! I will have to try it out...thank you for the info !
Dr. Cranky Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 It's a clean, well-built model. I like it.
David G. Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Looks great. The weathering on the tires and frame is well done and adds to the "weight" of the model.
