RodneyBad Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I hate to say it but Nice looking Zombie?? Or is it a bad looking Zombie?? Either way, Nice work on it.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Excellent, yes, we need more figures like this one on the market.
David G. Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Well, there ya go! That's very cool. What are the details? How'd you make it?
Dr. Cranky Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 See I keep coming back to this figure. With a casting of this figure, the builder can then make more changes, cut off a hand . . . drill out one eye, etc . . . We need a set of figures in different poses to really get the whole Zombie/Post Apocalypse off the ground!

I've got a TON of figures, preiser, flintstone, etc...I'm trying man!! Sixx

So Cranky's interests encompass not only abandoned, broken-down, gunky and distressed machinery, but abandoned, broken-down, gunky and distressed humans as well! That's just too funny! Bring on the zombies!
Edward Gore Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 This is a good idea and sculpt conversion. Thread title hints that there are more zombie figure build threads to see here somewhere?
Greg Myers Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 So is this the "Twilight" of model building as we know it ?
Joe Handley Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 So is this the "Twilight" of model building as we know it ? No, it's missing pasty, scrawny guys with fangs and a bunch of hairball jocks
Dr. Cranky Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Cool, man, build away, if you end up with half a dozen figures in different poses, you can cast them or I can put you in touch with my buddy Ryan who is crazing about casting and you and him can go into business. I'm telling you lots of people would jump on these, and buy a whole bunch from ya. Needless to say, Cranky is very very very happy!

I am Not good at casting. But not yet man, I still have to finish this z, and got to do some more! Would like to do 4 or 5 "masters" first, gotta have a dead chic in there too!! LOL!!!! Like you said, maybe one with diff. body parts for other poses, or just a few other undead! I will definitly get ahold of you when I get some done. Thanks Cranky. Sixx
torinobradley Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Awesome! As much as I like the undead and modeling, I never connected the two... Wouldn't this make a unique Mini-Men version/conversion... Put me down for some! Another sorce for appropriate sized figures are those Christmas and Halloween villages. I might have to get in on this trend as well, though most of my stuff is currently stored off-site. Will have to look next time I'm in the stores to see if I can find a Christmas figure to, um, disfigure.... Thoughts of Zombie Santa Claws come to mind...
